You might have noticed that I haven’t been very active on the blog lately, and to some extent on the various communities. It’s not because AI took our jobs, not yet 🙂
I’ve been of course very busy with reviewing the latest (12th) edition of the Office 365 for IT Pros book and the “companion” Automating Microsoft 365 with PowerShell one. With over 1500+ pages and hundreds and hundreds of code samples, and with contributions from few different authors, each with their own writing style, the process can be quite time consuming. At the same time, it’s also a great way to refresh one’s knowledge and check up on things you might have not touched for a while or to remind yourself just how fast things move in the cloud. Anyway, if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, hit the link above!
Next, I’m happy to announce that I have been renewed as Microsoft MVP for another year. Just like in the past few years, I have been again rewarded in both the Microsoft 365 and Security categories. The program has changed a lot since I was first awarded back in 2014, and so has Microsoft as a whole, but apparently there is still a place in it for individuals that don’t shy away from providing honest feedback about the product(s).
Lastly, the blog has again moved home, and I’ve finally given up on hosting it on any Microsoft platform. It is now hosted on WordPress.com, and this will probably remain it’s home for the foreseeable future. In case you are one of the few poor souls that have subscribed to it, apologies for the feed spam, but that’s an unfortunate side effect of the migration. Apart from that and having to rewrite the image URLs, the migration process was mostly painless, and hopefully everything should still work as expected. Do let me know if you run into any issues with links, images, comments and so on.
Congratz for the renewal!
(testing the new blog)
Thanks 🙂
